It is not often that I have attempt something crafty.
I am not a crafty person.
Sure a homemade card made from old cards,
but nothing all that creative.
But this weekend I put together a fairly crafty gift.
felt ... ribbon ... skewers ... empty bucket ... dollar bills
I sure am wishing I knew more crafters in my area.
Oh well,
that is so cute, sandra!!! for not being so crafty, you did a great job!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you - I was pleased with the results.
DeleteThat was a great idea! Looks really good
ReplyDeleteThank you - I thought it would be more fun that a gift card or a pile of bills in a card :)
DeleteI think you did an excellent job
ReplyDeleteThanks - I am glad you liked it. You are worth the effort :)
DeleteThis is really nice. Excellent job. Im going to give this idea a try. Is the entire flower and letters felt? How did you get it to stick?
DeleteAnonymous - The entire flower and letters were felt, but you could use fun scrapbook papers. I used Craft glue to get the flowers and letters to stick together. I just used the sharp end of the skewer to "stab" it into the back of the flower - you could also sandwich the stick between the flower and the "yellow" circle.
DeleteI realize that this was posted four years ago. It is very cute and I'm going to try it. I have a question before I get started: What is the approximate diameter of the flowers? In my head I was picturing a circle of about two inches. But, then I realize the "leaves" would probably be much bigger than the flower. Thanks. Becky
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are about 5 inches. I would guess that I used 3 inch circle on a four inch flower. Thanks for stopping by :)
