Righteousness?

Psalm 1:6

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous:

but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

So I didn't get to the posting part yesterday,

but the "tune" that was with me yesterday was Psalm 1.

As I read the Psalm, it hit me that I often claim this promise -

"the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous",

but am I living the righteous life that He desires?

  The Psalm shows the righteous person as one who doesn't ...

...walk with the ungodly,

...stand with sinners,

...sit with the scornful,

 ... he delights in the Law of the Lord,

...and meditates on His Word.

Am I righteous? 

With the blood of Christ covering me, I am,

but I want to strive to live the righteous life that He has set out for me.
