This update is a little bit late due to continued connection problems. Hubby and I did do some apple picking last Friday. It was so nice to get away. We went about 45 minutes east of our little town in search of my favorite Macintosh apples. We missed the Macs due to some strong storms, but we still had a good time and enjoyed the time away.
The owners think that we picked Winesaps. They are good for munching, made a good pie, made good sauce, but we were a bit disappointed with the cider that it made. I love the fact that marriage can be new all the time. Hubby wasn't feeling particularly well, but made the time to have a special time with me.
