God is good ALL the time

So often we tell of something good that has happened and follow it with the rhetorical question,

"Isn't God good?" 

But isn't God good in the hard times as well?

...when the car is in the shop?

...when the power bill needs to be paid?

...when we have to exhibit patience? 

Today I am thankful for the struggles that make me stronger,

the weaknesses that keep me humble,

the trials that keep me turning to my faithful Lord.

II Corinthians 12:9-10

And he said unto me,

My grace is sufficient for thee:

for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

Most gladly therefore

will I rather glory in my infirmities,

that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,

in reproaches, in distresses for Christ's sake:

for when I am weak, then am I strong.
