I Need to Turn

Psalm 80:19

Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts,

cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Both sermons on Sunday were on hypocrisy.

Saying one thing and doing another ...

or judging a person while I have the same problem.

Then the Psalm that we will be studying tomorrow night ...

the psalmist reminds that it is not God that has turned, but I who have moved.

Hypocrisy is rooted in pride, in denying my own faults.

How good to be reminded!
