Proverbs 28:19
He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread:
but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
Another reminder to stay focused and diligent.
Work = Food
It is so simple and so lacking in society today.
The welfare mentality teaches us that we deserve gifts,
that we can have what we want for minimal effort.
It is not God's plan.
Vain - empty, useless
Who are my friends and companions?
Do they edify, strengthen, and encourage?
or is it all vain activities and conversation?
Wasting time in useless activities and with useless people
will only breed poverty in body AND soul.
