Just Right

Proverbs 25:11 

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold 

in pictures of silver.

 

The right word ... at the right time ...

a treasure to be prized.

 

It is easy to run off at the mouth.

It is easy to speak before thinking.

It is easy to wound with the tongue.

It is easy to speak callously.

 

Of great value is the right word.

understanding

comfort

encouragement

edification

challenge

 

A specific prayer to add to my list.

 

Psalm 19:14 

Let the words of my mouth, 

and the meditation of my heart, 

be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, 

my strength, and my redeemer.
