As a couple,
I think that it is easier to have a proper focus on Christ.
But even as adults it is easy to lose the focus.
The ads, the gifts, the sales ...
For us,
But even as adults it is easy to lose the focus.
The ads, the gifts, the sales ...
For us,
we have often opened our home to others on Christmas day.

We are planning to go visit a friend in the hospital. She has had chemotherapy which resulted in an infection in a knee replacement. She was recently placed in a hospital facility for rehab and now has some confusion going on as well.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't given individual gifts on Christmas for several years, so that has dramatically cut down on the covetousness. The sales are hard sometimes, but keeping our financial priorities where they should be keeps us from spending on things that we do not need. Not sure what Christmas day will hold, but it will be a quiet day around here.
