One of the blessings of Bible memory work
is that you have to meditate on the verses.
You constantly read, review, recite, dwell on the thoughts therein.
This verse has been a blessing to me this month in Psalm 3.
Whatever is going on around me,
God is there.
If I am doing right,
if I am confessing and forsaking sin,
God is my shield.
God will uphold me.
