I am not a particularly outgoing personality.
It takes great effort for me to meet people.
Last night, we had the opportunity to entertain
a new student to our local college and her mother.
It was so nice to make two new friends.
I am thankful for the common bond of Christ that makes strangers into friends.
While our lives and backgrounds may be very different,
that one commonality is all we need for a peaceful afternoon or evening.
I am also thankful for the encouragement of those who take the hard stands,
who do what's right even when it is hard,
even when others tell them that they should do differently.
Oh the value of a righteous testimony!
