Hubby and I enjoyed a nontraditional Thanksgiving Day yesterday. (Not quite as odd as a turkey sandwich on the North Shore in Hawaii some 6 years ago) We were definitely not up at 4:45 am. We arose and did a relaxing Pilates workout, cleaned up, and finally had brunch at around 10:30. We read the "Praise Psalms" together and then around 11:45 hit the road to see the Biltmore house decorated for Christmas. (See a picture of us here.) Following our "explore," we headed to Ryan's for a Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet.
I enjoyed a day with no set schedule and no hype to draw away from the act of Thanksgiving. I have much to be thankful for ... God is so good.
