It seems that each day ends with hubby saying, "baby, we're almost done." The pile of work left for the semester is depleting. By tomorrow night, 2 subjects will be completed except for exams. Hubby hopes to finish English next week and then there will just be weekly reading that is best done right before the quiz and GREEK!
It was a good week. It turned out that we did not have mandatory meetings in the evening, so that freed up some time and allows us to go to Seedline tonight to make Bibles for the World Cup in South Africa early next year. I made good strides in some DEEP CLEANING in the trailer which inspires me to keep it up next week. With a small place, it shouldn't take much longer. I hope to work on cleaning light fixtures this week.
We had a funny "only in the south" experience on Wednesday. Hubby took a college student to Sonic for a treat after Wednesday night services. We ordered a Cherry limeade for our friend and a small strawberry slush to share. When our car hop came out, she had one cherry limeade and one cup of ice. She didn't understand why we would want a plain slush. We couldn't understand that either. Chris explained what we ordered and she explained how we "should have" ordered. She replaced the cup of "slush" with our order and we laughed the whole way home.
It is the weekend. It will be good to be in the House of the Lord on Sunday. Enjoy!
